I could not decide LMAO or SMH …

(i) Lovaza and Omacor is the SAME drug (different names in different countries)
(ii) Lovaza was bought / licenced for US and Puerto Rico by GSK from Pronova … it is not an AZN product
(iii) AZN bought Epanova (not Omacor) from Omthera
(iv) Omacor was not, is not, will not a US product … the name used in other contries (It is Lovaza in the US)
(iv) The main competition is GENERIC Lovaza (Lovaza's sales is virtually nothing)
(v) Epanova was approved for TG >500 … but was not, is not marketed (is not being used in the U.S.) by AZN

The major issue, which Vascepa has faced since its inception... is its being confused with "fish oil"...sometimes by mistake...sometimes intentional.

Nope. Acc. to Amarin - see ITC Complaint - Vascepa is a fish oil … no question: is not the same as COMMON fish oil. Fish oil covers more than one type …. (e.g. Lovaza is a fish oil also).
