There have been multiple cases where management's of companies that were in distress, cut their salaries to the bone when things weren't going good for their company.

It looks like our management, basically all of them, are greedy bas … ah, um, greedy people.

They can argue that they are spending their time fighting the false allegations against the company, and that that takes time and effort to search out ways to combat the allegations, while at the same time, they are working on preparing the company for eventually building a mine, plus that they are also meeting with Native Alaskan's, plus regional and state politicians, to keep them informed on what Northern Dynasty is doing to make sure that the area won't be harmed, plus how Pebble will help the area, as well as Alaska economically. Plus they are probably trying to work out deals in our favor with other mining companies, and that would take time and effort.

However, none of that justifies their monster salaries.

So, yes, in my opinion, they are greedy.

Still, if they are able to guide the company through the morass of political and social backlash against the Pebble mine, and actually arrange for the mine to be built, then I guess that their salaries could be overlooked, even if not justified.
