Built-in WI-FI. Those requiring no routers.

It's (kinda) standard now (if want), but my understanding is "Those don't infringe", according to Dr. Teece and the info provided by our "Field reporting team".

Yes, I thought, "Shut the front door"--That's a huge drop in infringing modems.

But after research, it was NOT common.

Modems only modulated and demodulated the digital signal for decades.

Even today, most routers handle the WI-FI.

I think Xfinity (Comcast) was one of the first to combine (a bundled combo pack) with WI-FI included (if wanted--But they make less money).

Surprisingly, I think most people still separate both modem & router.

That's one of the reasons so curious about what the total infringing units are.

You did such an outstanding job compiling sn's posts, another quarantined research project to do. :-)
