Off-topic posts have been a constant problem on this forum over the past 3 years. I've asked on several occasions for the off-topic posts to stop.

As a compromise (at the request of one of the moderators), I offered to allow off-topic posts on the weekend, so long as during the week the moderators assisted in deleting off-topic posts.

This too failed.

Since I'm not online often and moderators of this forum are either no longer able or willing to enforce this rule, I'm left with no choice but to take extreme measures to fix the problem.

Anybody that continues to degrade this forum with off-topic posts during the trading week will be banned from posting on this forum.

First offense = 1 week ban
Second offense = 1 month ban
Third offense = lifetime ban

Off-topic posts will still be allowed over the weekends (between 4:00 pm Friday and 7:00 am Monday).

Moderators are not exempt from the rules. In fact, I expect their assistance with enforcing the rules. If they are not helping - they will be replaced.

For those that want to participate in off-topic discussions during the week, may I please suggest that you create another forum for that purpose. I would even be willing to put a sticky post on this forum directing people to the off-topic forum so that the same people that frequent this forum can easily find it and participate.
