“Let there be light!” To harness pulses of light on a chip to do extremely fast computing is something right out of space travel. I remember way back when there was a member of LWLG (TDON) by the name of Terry Turpin who was trying to pave the way with our materials/science. I’d like to think that effort is still on going just not the highest priority right now. I just wish we’d sign on with someone with extremely deep pockets to pour the right color of money into our efforts. Could you imagine a healthy R&D budget with a huge staff and equipment to “Boldly go where no one has gone before!” I’m ready to take the ride as I’m sure a number of wave riders are as well.
