From what I could see, Saini make claims for the use(Utility)of omentum on many points and 'theories'. I did not see any design or actual device prototypes. Maybe I'm missing something, but looks to me like Cerebain is actually doing the work. Cerebain contracted Sonos to design and build three actual medical device prototypes. Perhaps, Cerebain can patent their own device. I see why you mentioned that now, adds a interesting piece to this story.

The application that was filed on February 27, 2019, is still pending. One reason that it may not be public is that maybe a form was filed not to make it public. The attorney of record would be able to see the prosecution history via private pair.

Also, I see that a response to the Final Office action was not filed and when you see that, the application automatically goes abandon. If you fail to respond to a final office action, you have options, one is to file a form which takes it back to the point of prosecution before the Final Office Action was issued, or to file a continuation application. They are keeping the application alive with continuations.

So the application is still pending. There is hope.
