Right. The short interest imo is closer to 10 million shares. Now I’ve heard from pretty reliable sources that the short interest could be as much as 85 million shares. News we fly. #squeezetime

Also, it is interesting the mention of market makers. They have been known to play along, making shares available to cronies for manipulation and shorting. It would not surprise me one bit to find they’re stuck as well. Hence the 85 million share short interest figure mentioned.

MMs often borrow shares very briefly as part of their job to quickly process orders during the day...."Volume"

Short "Interest" is the open borrowed short shares needing to be bought back at some point in the future. This is what's generally discussed as "shorts".
