Honestly, I'm not sure how to explain it....same big share ASK block moved around to discourage buying....sometimes chopped up to hide it, but the math reveals them. I suppose a shareholder seller could be doing that, but looks like MM games to me. I am more the investor than the trader, so perhaps someone else can verbalize better about MM ploys. It's just that I buy 2-3 days a week for our little group, and notice these MM signals, ploys, games ...whatever they can do to elicit ACTION....their life blood.

From what I understand based on a quick search...

Walls are put up by those trying to manipulate the share price.

Individuals (or maybe a group) will accumulate a large number of shares, say 750k at a low share price. As the price starts to climb a little, that same 750k can be put up for offer in one big lump. This produces a 'wall' that buyers need to eat through before the shares offered at a higher price can be bought.

As an example:

I set up a wall of 1 million shares at 5 cents. You would like to sell your stock at 6 cents but know that wo'n't happen in any decent amount of time with my wall of shares standing in your way. So if you really want to sell your shares you'll have to offer them at less than 5 cents in order to have any chance of selling them any time soon (who knows how long it will take for my wall to come down by people buying at 5?)

You offer your shares at 4.9 cents. I may buy them because why not? They are cheap. This is me manipulating the share price myself, or with a group of others who might be accumulating or making money off buying/selling large amount of shares with small profits.
