November 22 is a hearing date that was scheduled along with other events this past summer. There was discovery. Discovery failed to produce any evidence supporting the trade secrets theft case and also provoked a couple of admissions from Attia that hurt his case. Google filed its motion materials including the discovery results in September. It goes before the judge for hearing to decide whether or not the trade secrets case should be dismissed next month.
There is still a trial scheduled for September 2020 but its status and length is marked “TBD”. Status and length will be determined if necessary at the pre trial case conference scheduled for August 2020. There are many possibilities including that there is no trial on the trade secrets case because it may have been dismissed 10 months earlier.
