There is nothing stupid about expecting a dividend to be paid of this nature. If you are referring to cash dividends by companies in decline... and divys are skipped, omitted, or cancelled...

well, that is not the type of dividend we are discussing here.

To act as if it IS is stupid!

We are discussing a dividend that JR has declared will be done to separate USSE from the power generating subsidiary that IS NOT a green company... which would negate the green incentives IF they remained one company!

So... unless USSE fails completely... it will be done BECAUSE JR said so and he owns controlling interest!

There is nothing stupid about this assessment...

and the only thing that impacts this is "small start-up company risk of failure"... I will concede to you that IF the company fails (in the next 6-8 months) the spin-off dividend might not get paid!
