North. Thx I know that . What I was looking for were concise responses . I am not able to send a 5 page argument . I'm limited to a set number of letters in my email responses thru Kaiser .
Poster Atom has directed me to some concise responses ....on Amarin's web site Kiwi
PS. I just saw your links ...thx ...will go thru them
PPS. in listening to Dr Bhatt .....he describes R-IT as over 60% secondary prevention and the rest primary prevention . The primary prevention group being mainly diabetics with one additional risk factor .
My Cardiologist's argument is that if he were to prescribe Vascepa to me .. he would only prescribe it if I were a 1) Secondary prevention patient. ..ie prior MI etc 2) Diabetic with 1 additional risk factor
That is different from my understanding of the NLA statement ...which was clinical ASCVD , Tg's over 135 , optimal statin therapy . Can you be clinical ASCVD without having a prior event ?...my understanding is that you can > Whats your opinion
