STS- For me that's a yes despite the still long path ahead for algae (EPA) commercial production. Absolutely its critically important to have trusted & loyal representation embedded in China. I think China would be more likely to subsidize water & energy costs than the US. Similarly, I've also been keeping half an eye on OMEICOS' commercial development launch path into 2026-2028?; the company Pyr mentioned back last Nov. that started a Phase 2 in April for their compound OMT-28 for A-fib. PROMISE-AF It looks like they hired a new "CBO" this month (an IPO in the works?!).

Mice! I have a cousin who works at JAX - talk about clean mice; real KNOCKOUTs.

Better living through (bio)chemistry, as Dupont says. I like the promise of Cell-Ag - Cell Ag Org Hopefully, at some point Roundup in our current crop mgt systems won't be necessary to maintain the green revolution.

My prediction with respect to all agencies - we'll see more of President _____(whoever, doesn't matter) "USEPA" or "FDA" or "SEC" (e.g. President Smith's DOE) as the general trend is toward an increased usage of executive orders by Presidents be they red or blue. Congress abdicates their oversight role in limiting this trend because it's preferable to tuck in & protect their own lordships, except from the few states that are term limited. Congress won't get in the way. The courts vacillate since they aren't entirely comfortable with the agencies who encroach on their role.

And so, every 4 or 8 years all agencies will increasingly be whipsawed by equal & opposite presidential political gewgaw.
