Atom, The NNT of 21 is based on the R-I official study results, which
exclude repeat events. When the NNT was figured based on all events
including repeat events the NNT came out to be 6. (At least this is
my understanding.)

Atom. Sorry can’t link for you at the moment .... but you need to read Dr Bhatt’s 5 yr follow up study published earlier this yr.

It’s important to view the benefits of Vascepa over several yrs ... for prior event patients ....since these patients have a very high repeat CV event risk .
