Atom. Well you can probably run some numbers on a 3 mth delay

Example ... Dr Bhatt’s 5 yr follow up study showed an NNT of 6
Ie 6 patients on V for 5 yrs avoids 1 of them having a CV event

So if this delay of say 3 mths means that 6,000 fewer CV patients are prescribed V then 5 yrs from now it will show up as 1,000 fewer events divided by 1/4 ... 250 more CV events . .... example only

Of course this can be counter acted if the FDA approves a very wide label enabling more then just strict R-It profile patients to be prescribed and covered on label .... and hopefully this is what the Adcom will be about

Thanks, Kiwi! But I thought REDUCE-IT showed an NNT of 21 and 28 for primary and secondary composite endpoints?
