MRC on Twitter yesterday:
Quote:
We decided to [short Amarin] because very few purchased the report. And we think greater compensation is suitable for the work put in. It’s a dependent compensation this way—if our report is quality and we are right, we will be well compensated when the CRL and patent litigation loss comes.

Narrator: IRS are rooting for you.

Speaking of patent litigation, replies to the dockets filed on 30 Aug 2019 are due on Thursday:

That’s smart- short a stock using your thesis no one believes in. How will he be doing when no one has bought his report and there is a short squeeze when the stock hits $35?

MRC isn’t sophisticated enough to short amarin, he probably has $12 in his account and is being paid $10 an hour to create FUD. I think he’s getting scared of being prosecuted and exposed...not as a mastermind, but as a 17 year old kid who trolls people in online forums, then slipped up when filing a report to the FDA that can be construed as trying to scare the market. Hopefully he gets in trouble

and if it's doo-doo you'll wish you had just waited for the nickle and dimes to come in from your report buyers.

Raf, how many followers does MRC have? I'm not a Twitterer.

How did the short work out for him last time?

This tweet should completely disqualify the "Citizen Petition". It's not a Citizen Petition at all - it's an Investor Petition. I see a lot of people coming down on BB for contacting the FDA and how the FDA won't listen to him (or any of us) because we are invested in the stock. I get that, but given the Reduce-IT results, BB is completely in the right insisting that lives are being lost - so at least there is some relevance to his contacting them etc. But it is clear now that MRC is simply in it for the money to be made shorting the stock (like we didn't already know that). What if every "concerned citizen" did this every time a sNDA was filed and flooded the FDA with these petitions for monetary gain? This is a SS of major proportions on all fronts. A breakthrough drug and everyone scrambling to try and make money off it some way some how at the 11th hour. I am long and not selling but it gets whackier each day.

Well it looks like a strike out to me. Couldn’t sell the report (strike 1). The short won’t work (strike 2). BP didn’t pay him enough to cover his labor on the bogus CP (strike 3) you’re OUT LOSER!
