It is hard for any of us to believe that the FDA would base a decision on a report written by a home renovator (albeit one with a pretty big chip in his messed up head).
But of course we don't know what else they are hearing or have received from other sources (e.g. Steve Nissen) -- it may simply have been rancid icing on some behind the scenes cake.
