FDA does not give a damn about any guff they may get for taking any actions - if they believe MO affected statin efficacy, they will issue a CRL - it's a real possibility at this time.
Per the "why did FDA ask AMRN to postpone AC news", I'd ask why the FDA informed them before it was published in the Federal Register? Why wouldn't they publish and inform AMRN at the same time?
BTW, the announcement STILL isn't in the Federal Register - did FDA ask AMRN to violate SEC regs on releasing material info? Is the 3 day rule 3 calendar days or 3 business days?
absolutely a whiff of corruption at the fda---more than a whiff---but I think you are right---we were hoping for a 40-60 B buyout---let someone offer 25B as has been brought up on boards for a while and its gone
