Correct TTF/Sharky, Yesterday's volume was over 24M. If all were bought by the GS boys, that leaves the shorts with nothing to cover. Shorts need another 24M shares to be covered. Or big boys and shorts both bought those 24M shares yesterday. Still these two want another 24M shares. The Company gives them only 24M shares. The rest has to come from the market. How many days shorts get to cover the shorted shares? 3? some might be on the 3rd day today.

HI TTE Some times it goes the other way; NEPT just diluted 10% selling at $4.40 and market took it UP to %5.71! The market is fickle some times! ;.)

What risk? GS, JPM, and the others sold this stock to other 'tutes before the secondary announcement even came out. If you mean "what should they earn for finding the buyers", turns out it's 4.25%:

https://investor.amarincorp.com/node/17141/html

Public offering price $ 18.000 $ 400,000,014

Underwriting discounts and commissions 0.765 17,000,001

Proceeds to Amarin Corporation plc, before expenses 17.235 383,000,013

Delivery of the ADSs is expected to be made on or about July 23, 2019. We have granted the underwriters an option for a period of 30 days to purchase up to an additional 3,333,333 ADSs. If the underwriters exercise the option in full, the total underwriting discounts and commissions payable by us will be approximately $19,550,000 and the total proceeds to us, before expenses, will be approximately $440,450,008.

AMRN won't pocket $440M, it's be $420M if the shoe is exercised - someone said the secondary last Nov did not have the shoe exercised, and if that's true again it's not a good sign. BTW, if JT really did say the last one was sold out in an hr, why wasn't the shoe bought too? You'd think if there was such a high demand buyers would have wanted every share they could get.
