Stockman, I've been thinking the same thing. Granted I know that they claim that they were one of the early birds to the cannabis game, I just find it ironic that they are supposedly in one of the largest R&D phases with Altria, for nicotine, when all of the research that they are posting is recent testing and results for DehydraTECH and CBD. Not that they couldn't be researching and testing both...but one would assume that, given the investment, the company's focus would have been surrounding the results in regards to nicotine. Because they keep reporting results in regards to CBD it makes me think that Altria knows that the tech works...that the tech will revolutionize the nicotine industry...but since the current global focus is on CBD right now they have shifted their primary focus to CBD in an effort to get their partner, Cronos, a leg up in the game.

Cronos seems to make the most sense to me also. Wasn't there some clause in the Altria agreement giving Altria dibs over other companies that may want to gain ownership of Lexaria subsidiaries based on any positive results learned in the Nicotine research. I bet this carries over into the cannabis research. If Cronos is interested it could be that Lexaria may be sending other possible buyers away so they can eventually sell the subsidiaries to Cronos when Cronos is ready to go to market.
