You are not going to bring back something that someone else can do cheaper! We didn’t expand buckboard/wagon manufacturing when the auto industry developed. We didn’t expand whaling when electricity was discussed. We have to embrace the next wave, green energy, tech, etc. how about infrastructure, upgrade our water/sewer/internet for all... we need to stop looking backwards and start looking forward. Coal is not coming back, period, get over it.

jjff, I totally agree that we need to have a level playing field. Sometimes that is hard to get; but you have to insist on it, no matter what.
