I want to thank you for your posts re: SI and EPA / Vascepa. They have been extremely helpful personally. I was able to convince my parents (particularly my dad) to take an Omega 3 test, and I was expecting a poor AA:EPA ratio. The result was worse than I expected -- off the chart worse. That is the bad news. The good news is that they seem to acknowledge the problem and the high probability that it is linked to his RA.

That said, if you would be willing, may you and I have a short email discussion? Their GP seems to be loath, at times, to prescribe medication off-label, though he has so far been willing to prescribe mild antibiotics off-label for my dad's RA. I want my parents to be prepared when they go visit the GP, and while I think I have most of the bases covered, I know you have knowledge / informational resources that I am not aware of.
