This location may not be opening since a Hi-rise is going in? Never know...could be a few years before ground breaking.

Seems like the Canadian sector is so new a lot of companies are scrambling to set up shops in Canada. A most impressive store I visited was Planet 13 in Las Vegas. Boy!!! was that a nice place...the owners wanted it to be the best in class dispensary in Vegas...it is really awesome. I cannot imagine a lot of this type "mega dispensaries" going up...they have another smaller store.

We will see many more stores from a lot of different companies springing up this year. It is still illegal to do business with cannabis across the border in the USA.

The picture I posted was from a work colleague yesterday morning (Wed March 13th/2019) walking into work.

That location has been a proposed condo building since prior to 2007.(scroll back on the timeline views in google maps.) It isn't getting built. That building has had lots of business' come and go over the years So probably not the ideal location, but just to get anything through the City of Calgary Development process is huge victory. i did an extensive renovation on my house in 2013-2014, getting through all the rules and regs was incredibly difficult and now for cannabis retails there are additional rules and regs.

Anyhow, I'll try and find some time this weekend to go past there to see what I can see.
