Because Larry Smith has suggested possible outside criminal tampering in the trial, one alternative hypothesis/reason they might ultimately have to exclude patients after randomization is if it was determined 17 placebo received "trx" instead. This might be determined via liquid biopsy if t-cell counts improved in 17 placebos -- inexplicably -- which might be originally determined/spotted if all patients in a clinic or cluster of clinics were exhibiting higher t-cell counts after injections, instead of just some patients.
