I'd suggest it is like
If ya have a bushel basket of apples and ya have 100 apples and someone bellies up to the bar and gives ya $200 for the basket, THEY MUST see that to them, they are worth $2 an apple.

I know this is a very simplistic example but for some reason EDDIE must see a value here in the long run close too that or better than that or he is an IDIOT With far too much money to burn.....

It's Like Storage WARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the only difference is the person who has facilitated over 5 "BILLION IN SUPPORT" was the original owner of the storage bay.

Something tells me eh knows what is in all the boxes or how all the stuff in there can be used to at bare minimum cover his investement

I think that is suppose to be the implication. And I'm definitely in this and still buying, but I think it misrepresents things. Lampert is paying $5.2 billion for control of Sears, not for any common shares of stock. This isn't that kind of buyout. In the short term (between now and six months from now) I can see this going to $10-$12 a share. If Lampert reveals a plan that includes a partnership with Amazon, or something of that equivalent, then the long term could see the $40s levels. Unless there actually is a real bona fide short squeeze...then all bets are off. This could easily hit $40 in short term then.

From what I gather shares and structure will stay in tact. However another article I read had all the figures in it and even if Lampert bought our shares out it would equate at minimum to $1 per share. Thats worst case scenario. Either way its an easy double from now. I think the share structure will stay in tact though and pps will be much greater than $1 when all is said and done short term here. Expect to see a lot more loading this week. I think some were hoping for 19s ahain but I dont see that happening.

I doubt this will be the case.

Typically, share price is with regards to how well the company is doing along with it's value. Sears in this case will be coming out of a debt consolidation, so I can imagine investors being skeptical and waiting to see how they perform post reconsolidation.
