I think that is suppose to be the implication. And I'm definitely in this and still buying, but I think it misrepresents things. Lampert is paying $5.2 billion for control of Sears, not for any common shares of stock. This isn't that kind of buyout. In the short term (between now and six months from now) I can see this going to $10-$12 a share. If Lampert reveals a plan that includes a partnership with Amazon, or something of that equivalent, then the long term could see the $40s levels. Unless there actually is a real bona fide short squeeze...then all bets are off. This could easily hit $40 in short term then.
