It is a very complex issue whether they need the cash dividends, or whether no dilution and good growth is sufficient to get the share price up. For US-listed Chinese companies, that is. It is something that I don't have the answer to.
But I agree, admitting their mistakes is a step forward. We need full transparency, the good and the bad. It also shows they care and are not "above the law".
For now it seems we have to focus on the stock dividend once again. This is still the big one, IMO. It hasn't helped us in the past due to a lack of transparency. But hopefully it will be different this time with the F-1 process.
Still devastated by yesterday's news. We should have seen a 5c dividend and a $0.50 stock. I feel bad for so many people including myself.
