I wonder how long it will take for V to start pulling ahead of the GL and L? Imagine after the reps hit the ground running mid January to February.

...it looks like Generic Lovaza appears to be getting a leg up on the back of Reduce it also ( Nrx numbers for GenL startling). Lots of ignorance out there and a lot of work to be done.

Although that said we still haven't had that many data points ( with a full week) since Reduce it and also there is the refill/visit to the doctor cycle to consider. There will I am sure be a tipping point.

Thanks S! Really V is pushing up sales of the class and this is a big question I have for the board, what is stopping docs from prescribing generic L, even without a CVOT it is well covered and generic and people are very happy to generalise. Annoying!

Also for EPANOVA what happens when strength reads out? Amarin say two things:

1. Competition is good and it will build the class of omega 3s and build the market.

2. We have blocking IP that stops Epanova from coming to market

WHICH ONE IS IT? Can’t be both surely...

Lovaza franchise appears to have better leveraged the Re Duce It results than Amarin...I know it’s early days, but this must be frustrating to Amarin mgt...If big Pharma owned this drug (V), the Lovaza boys would already be feeling the heat....
