Good points overall numbers for Omegs 3s including generic L are slowly increasing post AHA, but i dont think Doctors are writing more generic L , its that Insurance companies are not differentiating between the two and trying to switching to Generic L as a prescribing Doc this has happened to me and it is pretty much something that you dont much control over, either you accept or cancel the prescription which is what I do.

Insurance companies pushing the Generic when the patients get to the Pharmacy. The pharmacist gives them gL. I insisted V. Once you get V, it is in your file and neither the pharmacist nor the insurance company question it. But the NRx new in is where getting switched. Insurance companies.

this makes ITC case more important IMO...legally (and kind of therefore medically) differentiates Vascepa and other omegas. docs may not fully understand now, but will be curious to see why other drugs no longer marketable, which will lead them to see there IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR VASCEPA!
