#194314 RE: Lykiri #194308

Lykiri, thanks for your explanation. Here is something curious. According to Senti's calculations there were 41 met+ and 28 met- alive who at 3/17 were less than 36 months on trial. 56 met+ eventing before 36 months and 41 met+ alive before 36 months means that 34 met+ patients passed the 36 months mark (131-56-41=34). Similarly 121 met- eventing before 36 months and 28 met- alive before 36 months means that 13 met- made it past 36 months at 3/17 (162-121-28). With the 6 patients of the 38 who you believe passed the 36 months time line we would have a total of 53 patients (34+13+6=53) living beyond 36 months.

53 is 9 patients more than the 44 cited in the publication. Still even if there are some questions remaining concerning the exact numbers surviving beyond 36 months, the fact that almost three times as many met+ than met- patients passed 36 months is interesting. I recall that several posters believe that the ratio of long living met+ to met- would be more like 2:1.
