Some folks saw 90/10 as a sign that Oracle really likes NotifiCRM. I never understood that. You pay more for what you like. And you rush to bring it to market.

It's an add-on product. To my knowledge we have no idea how involved Oracle was with the integration. They may have given the specs to NFUSZ and said - figure it out, call us if you get stuck.

If it was something much more elaborate why is Oracle dragging their feet if their goal is to take market share in the CRM space? V3? I strongly doubt it. V2 was supposed to be what everyone wanted.

The first sign I saw that Oracle wasn't excited was the fact that NFUSZ almost didn't have their own booth at the conference. Clearly Oracle wasn't trying to showcase the new technology they just got that they think will disrupt the CRM world. After that it was the 8k saying the joint PR was in the CEO's hands, and subject to his schedule. Two red flags early on. Actually the FIRST sign was that it was an add-on product, and not being incorporated as part of their standard CRM product. I got blasted when voicing these opinions, of course.

At this point I HOPE they have even just 10 salespeople that will excitedly push the product to their clients.

I FEAR it will end up being solely dependent on organic word of mouth growth like perhaps almost all of their add-on products.

I am glad that Dr2 is excited and Marketo seems to be excited - thats helps me offset the huge disappointment so far with Oracle.
