Once randomization occurs, it is unlikely that learning or suspecting they were now getting the would have any impact. We are measuring objective info. Blinding helps prevent selection bias. We are not asking the patients if they "feel" like their cancer went away. Opturd was approved and that study wasn't blinded at all.
