Well of course that is my own personal opinion of "Placebo Effect" in objective measures. The reality is we have to remain blinded because that is how measures are done currently. I don't think that knowing whether you are getting a drug or not in an indication like brain cancer with a measure survival advantage is going to have any meaningful impact. Maybe there is a little something to "Mind over Matter", but I have not seen it proven. If you break an arm, you can't use your mind to reset the bone, you can use your mind to not "feel" the pain.

I do think it(blinding) is important for things like selection bias and other measures like QOL(how someone feels) or any other area where human opinions can be swayed.
