Good job Itsmyoption. They are all accurate statements.

There is none of the things such as old preferred needs to be paid dividends, or WAMU used to be a 299B bank but it is a good separation of WMI versus WMB, and Safe Harbor assets versus WMB assets that were sold... And nothing about S4V, WMIH which has nothing to do with the bankruptcy.

When we fight, we have to fight with good legal ground and only ask for things we own. Not because it should or it would, F&R, and so on. Nobody cares about our F&R.

A few additional suggestions for you, ItsMyOption:

The FDIC chairwoman is new and so she may not be familiar with WMB versus WMI which was not seized but she may only know that the WAMU bank was seized. Also, she may not be even familiar with what Safe Harbor mean? And what was the court ruling in POR 7. And so on. And so a little bit of introduction about those subjects may be useful.
