with the clearance to start (2) of the (3) trials and them being precision medicine type one would surmise that this is the ripe time for an announcement of a manufacturing partnership AHEAD of the need for the distribution of the drug on a large scale.

Anything could happen at this point. BIIB have shown they are capable of a range of money making moves. They did not get where they are by being dumb and missing the Micr/nano Bio portfolio signals. We have no information on the extent of the A2-73 testing nor any insights into their next AD move but if you connect all the dots, this sure seems like a good move for them.

The train will be leaving the station shortly. In a way this could be the biggest decision ever for them. Not clear if they are ready for the whole Precision Medicine portfolio thing though. But, they do have the money that will be needed. Good call.
