I think Arris has long term financial obligations in this due to indemnification (that will be a few years down the road though). I don’t believe that they have any short term financial issues other than legal costs because they are not being sued.
If Arris IPR is denied....then the trial is on and this will likely get settled before trial!
I assume that the reason we have not seen any valuation as of yet is because it is very high (Zomby?) most likely astronomical, why because Mr. Carter is not going after peanuts here. Once a figure becomes public look out because as this creeps forward you just may see a chunk O money in your account some morning (if this is settled before trial) due to a buyout!
If it goes to trial the cable companies are in huge trouble. If UOIP wins there will be an appeal by the 13 and who knows how long that will take.
