Couldn't agree more. Uber overlooking the obvious entails culpability hence liability. Though there were mitigating factors criminal charges should have ensued. My belief is that negligence occurred on Uber's part and the pedestrians part, but, pedestrians have the right of way. Uber's management overlooked that.
