Nidan, Xena,...Pharma continues to get a black eye (self inflicted). "60 Minutes" carried the storey below contending how a Pharma just about destroyed a city in IL with its outlandish drug cost escalation. The drug was called "Acthar" prescribed for "Infantile Spasms" While "60 Minutes" never did connect the point about how the city was to go into bankruptcy over the 10,000% increase in the cost of the drug, it did point out how phama seem to fall on their sword over drug pricing. This kind of "bad press" certainly gets back to Gottlieb and I bet he is asking Janet Woodcock if she sees any other promising drug on the horizon for "Infantile Spasms". CM just might know of one that has a pretty good chance to be a excellent replacement.......might an "Umbrella Trial" be in the works for RS and IS.
