the state of the Pharmaceutical industry today

Excellent, information to keep in mind. There has been a good discussion here about what people have been through and the risks associated currently approved w/FDA treatments.

Wondering if at some point after precision medicine techniques have been established (FDA key word) and effectively implemented will any retrospective analysis be required/conducted on currently approved products. Will people just be given new treatments? Will some future responsible agency decide..."Hey, we have been (fill in the blank) patients w/this stuff or decades and it is hurting more than it helps." Or, will BP, the street, the politicians, and the usual suspects be allowed to walk? Will existing products be removed from the market due to retrospective risk analysis using newly developed knowledge?

It was not that long ago that surgeons thought that washing their hands was a waste of time. Will all their OOPS just stay buried?
