David, " WMIH now owns all the value of the trusts, and in that respect, the beneficial/escrow markers are moot."

IF, this value belongs to WMIH, WHY doesn't ANYBODY seem to know this?
If it were known, wouldn't the pps be MUCH,MUCH higher?
Wouldn't WMIH need to show this value in its SEC filings?

David

""How WMIH will transfer value, based on the markers, to a shareholder who has sold all his shares and closed his trading account will be a mystery until it happens.""

IMHO those that closed their trading accts would get just exactly what those that didn't sign releases, they would not receive anything.

Doesn't seem like there would be anyway for the DTC to find them if they closed out accts.

I have wondered just how many probably did just that or died off and heirs saw no value and closed acct

Re: WMIH now owns all the value of the trusts, and in that respect, the beneficial/escrow markers are moot. Something may be afoot that will involve the markers, but the value of the trusts will end up with WMIH. At that time shareholders may hold, sell, or buy more shares. How WMIH will transfer value, based on the markers, to a shareholder who has sold all his shares and closed his trading account will be a mystery until it happens.

With due respect, this is new to me. A new theory was born.

Personally, I own a boatload of markers and WMIH shares and so I profit either way, but this is all new theory to me. I learn something new everyday.

I don’t think there is anyway this is possible, if this were true the directors of Wmih would be guilty of massive fraud. They essentially just sold the company for 1.41 a share (or slightly higher according to some) when it is actually worth several multiples of this according to your theory. How is this possible?
