IMHO those that closed their trading accts would get just exactly what those that didn't sign releases, they would not receive anything.

Doesn't seem like there would be anyway for the DTC to find them if they closed out accts.

I have wondered just how many probably did just that or died off and heirs saw no value and closed acct
