My recap of last night's show, the duet were mediocre at best.
As for my review of the people that got through.
Cade-Deserved it one of the better singers there. although I continue to say he needs to sing some ballads along the way, I will continue to say that every week until I see one of those.
Michelle- She is perhaps the worst singer I have ever seen make it this far on AI, her duet wasn't good, her performance in the solos was brutal. what the judges see in her is baffling to me. she is just not good.
Dennis, was good with a slower song in the duets in fact one of the better duets of the night. He sang well enough in the solos, although I didn't like the faster song for him. Overall though have no problem he deserved to go through.
Gabby- although I don't love her tone, I love her voice, when she uses her power. Overall she is a decent singer. I had no problem with her going through.
Jonny- he has a good tone deserved to go through, but doesn't have enough power to be a serious contender for me.
Michael- a combo of broadway, and a guy who you can't understand a word he sings. Not a good combo. I ask why did the judges pick him?
Caity-Why? I know they love her because of her quirky personality, I was under the impression, this was a singing show not a personality show. she is not a very good singer.

deserved to get through, posted in the order I like them, I will say this if cade can't sing ballads, which I don't know if he can. And gabby can't control her tone to be less of a problem when she isn't singing with power, the winner of AI isn't coming from this group, at least I believe that is the case. I don't agree with the judges and think they made some not so great decisions, they picked 3/4 worst singers (and the two worst) in the competition to advance, if they picked layla they could of went 4/4. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
