my thoughts on tonight's show........

..

it was duet night and most of it was awful. mostly because of the "talent" that showed up to sing with the idols.

catie- hated it

cabe- loved him in the preview as he guided the "talent" lady vs her guiding him. (i thought that before they even pointed that out), but i hated the female singer with her lgbt look and jumping around like a rapper. i liked him but he needs to slow down that fast vibrato that all the guys have now days.

oh, and you said you didnt like his mouth.. I think its because he seems to have lipstick on and i hate that too. but i am sure the show people did that to him.

layla- sadly the lady "talent" singer took over, and towered over her, dooming her outcome. also, i didnt like the song.

dom- i still dont like his singing.. close your eyes and all you hear are chipmonk's vibrato. yet, the judges love that stuff.

brandon- so, they are making someone that cant speak or sing spanish do this on American idol? and i hated his man bun, but i think he outsang is "talent" counterpart. either way, it was a train wreck.

kay kay- huh? hated it.

trevor- once again the lgbq rapper lady took over and killed it for him. then he blew it after she sang (sang? no, she didnt sing, but whatever) lol

michelle- so, she is sad to be out of Venezuela and away from her family, but she is here for American idol? wow. she sounded nervous and it didnt work for me.

jonny- another bad song choice like much of the night so far, yet they showcase the "talent" singers that join them. Jonny didnt do very good and his shirt was about as dressed down as can be. just sayin'

dennis- he got lucky to have a slower song so he did good. I was distracted by the judges yelling out at them while singing. its worse than the crowd yelling over the singers! the song was, as most men's songs now days, too feminine for me. someone was off key, maybe the back up singers? but dennis out sang the songwriter.

Michael- very cheesy and i didnt like the song.

Gabby- she threw too much twang into it, but did ok. she did very good during the harmonies though. not everyone can harmonize. they often follow the main tune and cant seem to find the harmony. I did like that they didnt yell and jump all over the stage like animals, (like some of the others)
