I feel something isn't adding up with Anavex, and sold 23k shares, half of my holdings. I would rather bet large on things I know will have a high likelihood of coming true. Anavex has a very high likelihood of failure, which is why we sit here in the sub-$3 range. Most of these investors conferences have beared no fruit for Missling.
Fireman,
You seem to be an experienced investor. Just curious about your logic to remain invested, despite the strong beliefs you express in you latest postings. Honest inquiry.
I HOPE they leave your response to whomever you were venting as it absolutely overlays the plan THIS retiree has been executing since at least 1/19 this year.
My option gamble on AVXL expired worthless and with the exception of three PERMANENT holding I have more cash than I have had since 2013 when I missed my guess about Romney's defeat.
This is going to be one hell of a year protecting assets and increasingly less conducive to fliers with uncertain timetables.
Perhaps just the ramblings of a 65 year old, but I encourage all to think deeply.......
It is a tough time to be invested in AVXL. Not only are we waiting for news to come our way but the overall market is ready to take a bigger nosedive, IMO. The S&P is about to hit the lows from early February. What do you think will happen when stop losses get triggered right below there? I am hoping Anavex has some substantial news coming and it can be an investment for some to turn to in a down market. Who knows, but I did move all my 401K to safety.
