Too bad we couldn’t have an agreement with audit firm that if within well reasonable time if not completed that they get docked payment ... but ... CPAs work by time and still have to juggle other files not just theirs (multitasking) ... CPAs keep good track of how much time spent so the company should only pay for that

You are wrong on this one. Things like, algorithmic textual analysis, and other methods, including technologies used by the CIA have been introduced to determine whether a CEO, CFO are lying. And their use is becoming more commonplace every day. How fortunate that none of this is needed here. Roger is a very smart guy. He knows all of this. There is NO way he would put himself up against that wall. None.
