I bought some FPI last week since farmland like timberland tends to perform well during inflationary periods.

I looked into FPI, but I passed because of the corporate structure that gives control to the managing partnership rather than the REIT shareholders.

Could you clarify this? GM seeds are used one year only, and crops should be rotated so you are only growing a certain crop every third or fourth year at the most. Are you saying herbicide applications are dropping yields of multiple crops?
