Doc, the Mexico test pilot was not completed until September 30th. If they are negotiating the fine points of a contract at this time (assuming the tests went well), it's only been a week, but, yes, agree that news or an update on Monday is in order.

Sec is not a top priority with the democrats or republicans the Sec does not have the personnel to check and recheck 10-12 thousand companies.
Gte will survive and thrive there must be a way out of this and a way will be found.
How long it will take is anyones guess 6months a year?
Gte must not lose focus now and keep on working on all 8 cylinders full throttle to overcome whatever it is facing right ahead of it.
Blood is running in street on this one but it will not be long!!
We will know more about gte around the 15 of november that is when the 3rd quarter report comes out so until then there will be no other news unless of course we have signed contracts or any contracts of any sort that will be announced between now and the 3rd qurter report.
I wish everyone that s long good luck!!!
as for me i will not sell one share even if i needed the money which i do not at this time it is all a paper loss anyway i will wait some more if thats what it takes for management to get their act together.
No need for bashers to reply because i vowed to never ever reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am lurking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stop naked short selling!!!!!!

Very good post Doc,

That has been my line of thinking since around the time of the last SHM.

You should be careful though. Those of us that have questioned the company in bringing such projects to fruition have been quickly labeled as bashers here. I don't think I need to go into the laundry list of proposed projects and projections that have never come to fruition and whether or not those projects and projections were actually "promised."

My thoughts are that there is no moratorium on GTE releasing news now as some have suggested. They are still required to release "material" events. Its just that now with the SEC and AMEX breathing down their neck they have to be able to "back up" any news they release with solid, tangible evidence which is how a company should act WITHOUT the SEC and AMEX breathing down their neck.

Many blame the AMEX and a few journalists for the situation that Globetel faces. Whether or not if that is true, GTE has done a pretty good job of digging their own hole without the help of any conspirators.

All of this of course is IMHO.
