A well funded Emerald has the potential to help Nmus with future money invested here by Emerald. The more money Emerald has the more likely they put some of that money to work here. Thats why todays emerald news was of interest to us.
Everybody on this board is smarter than I am but maybe Emerald feels like I do and thinks that the real long term future is in the bio-pharma area. The retail is going to go gang busters for a while but it will soon become an area of intense competition and prices will start to decrease under that pressure. The real long term game is where patents and FDA approval for potentially billion dollar protected markets are. We are only scratching the surface of the medical applications of this plant. And, to belabor the obvious, any increase in NUMS will be reflected in the sp of Emerald given their 51% stake. So maybe their just playing the long game? Just a thought.
