I owned a small chain of floor covering stores which were registered as an S corporation in the state of Michigan. Had a CPA, not a bookkeeper do my books as a good CPA kept the IRS off my ass. Even back then they used software to do my monthly and yearly books. Today there is software that does this at the click of a mouse. The results have to be confirmed which DOES NOT TAKE A HALF A YEAR!
