CHS is a silane but it is currently much higher in cost than monosilane due to both the process and current low volume. Many new silanes produced by Dow Corning and others start out high and go down in price over time. The challenge is always finding the markets willing to pay the higher price when a new silane enters the market. I see Coretec doing that now and made a good move with bringing on someone located in Asia. This is traditionally where new markets for these types of materials are found. Monosilane is on the order of 50 cents depending on the grade so CHS has a long way to go to enter that larger market. It will get there but I would rather see Coretec focus on real markets willing to pay more to create revenue.
