They are treating their franchises like another board game lol.
I think its brilliant. They identified 2 type of investors:
1- The gold fish- those who can only buy 1 franchise, maybe 2.
2- The whales. These guys would like many franchises, and the master plan makes investing in S&L very interesting for them.
There is no “spreading ourselves too thin”. We are reducing the risk, by letting the owners place the money. This is the start of many “mini HQs” where the master plan owner is the owner of the mini HQ. We train this location, and afterwards they provide training for the franchises under them, for a fee. And a percentage of this fee will be paid to S&L Corporate.
This is the start of many royalties to come, not only distribution in games. Again, brilliant.
